Here is the reporter with her microphone.  How do people not notice when you use it on stage ;D

https://www.the-sun.com/news/6327704/kyla-galer-hurricane-ian-condom-microphone-florida/

The mic pack is for wireless microphones that are hidden under or with your costume.  They're not those hand held mics.

So, the square boxes are the transmitters and hold the batteries.  Those are what are protected by the condoms.

Also the complete unreleased session tapes from Glenn Gould's second (1981) recording of Bach's Goldberg Variations, with outtakes, over 11 CDs.

You do pay for the course, DR Jane. $12.50. But you save so much more than that in premium discounts.

This cast calls them condoms, too.

In this show we use 14 condoms and 40 or 50 (I don’t really know how many) tampons.

LOL dare I ask what the tampons were for?

The period scene, right? A key part of Carrie.

Oh.  I wouldn't know about that.

I read and enjoyed Wilkie Collins’s Woman White (certainly more than ALW’s musical version). The Moonstone was good. I’m two-thirds through my third Collins novel, Basil, and I find it almost comical in its self-importance. Anybody read any of his other books? Are they worth anything?

I have only read The Moonstone. It was one of my grandfather's favorite books.

Watching Hello Again (2017), the screen adaption of the John Michael LaChiusa musical. As screen adaptions go, it's pretty good. I watched another adaption the other day, The Last Five Years, which didn't get it right in adapting to the screen. It's a tricky business.

I also watched the Rent performance, the video recording of the Broadway closing night cast. I found it much more engaging than the film adaption, even though the film had most of the original Broadway cast. More realism doesn't always translate.

I haven’t seen Hello Again. I need to correct that.
