I find it dispiriting and exhausting.
What BK described is pretty common, at least for me, and has been growing increasingly more miserable.

They took a good system, and broke it.
The last time I flew, a woman both next to me and behind me, removed their shoes and socks, and placed their bare feet on my seat rest, and the other on the actual front row bulkhead by the tv.

The two women, both Korean, proceeded to ravenously devour the food they had brought on board.

Kimchee.
It has a foul, sulfur like smell, as it is made from fermented cabbage which releases gases back into the container.

The smell was overwhelming.
Then we hit major turbulence.

It fell upwards, then landed all over me.

I think about forgiveness, and how to be a better person in the coming year.

I do quite a bit of soul searching, and meditation.

It’s a somber and somewhat painful process, but I feel a sense of peace when the day is over.

I intend to do that on a more regular basis.
