I can't speak to the Times Square situation from here in Indiana - except to say that I agree with all that has been written here.

And the state of the theeder is dreadful and I don't think I could see a show on Broadway now the way the audiences act.

My microwave oven has a door that is being stubborn......and what should I get in my email today but a 15% off coupon from OLLIE'S.

Perhaps I shall drive over there and see what they have in that department......

There are criminals dressed as cartoon characters like Minnie Mouse, Tigger, Elmo, Cookie Monster, etc., who approach unsuspecting children to give them a hug. The families are delighted until the characters/criminals demand money and threaten them if they don’t pay. It’s totally out of control and a nightmare to navigate.

Well they didn't have any microwaves at Ollie's.  I looked at an air fryer.....but I didn't make the purchase.

For some reason the clientele at OLLIE'S today was all OLD OLD OLD people many with canes and walkers - and women of a certain age standing blocking the already too crowded aisles.

I found a couple of books and some snacks.....but when I went to check out - there were only two lines open and the line went all the way to the back of the store.

I didn't need the books or the snacks that badly.....so I bailed.

Just so the trip wasn't a total loss, I went by the bank and cashed a check.

I'm up, I'm up - barely. I don't know what's wrong with me but I cannot sleep. Last night, it was first tummy trouble, then allergies, even though I'd taken my Claritin-D. I may have gotten an hour or so of sleep but was mostly up until six. Then I finally fell asleep and got up at eleven. I have a phone session with Richard Allen to do fixes on the final three charts he's doing, so he can make piano guides for those songs. Of course, he's going to be gone until next Tuesday - he'll get one done, maybe two today, but the third will have to wait, which gives Sami a week to learn it, although she's had my rough vocal of it for a month.

Another excellent Access-a-Ride day! Pickup[ sche3duled at 8:29am., and at 8:17 I called to verify that. I called twicew, waited, and oth times was told they were too busy and to call back later. I called the main number, and it took seven minutes for the nice lady to check things out and tell me at 8:33 the driver would be there in 10 minutes. I locked up the apartment and moved to the lobby.. At 8:41 I called again the original broker's number I had called at 8:17, waiting while the young lady called the driver. She told me he was no longer my driver and they would send another car. Knowing I would no longer get tyo the appointment on time, I came back upstairs and called Dr. Glickman. I'm now scheduled for Oct. 26tgh,

At 8:56 the driver called and told me he was outside my building. I told him to go home and wipe his nose.

Yikes!
