Then I had a disturbing dream that was both scary and weird. I dreamed I was leaving an office in midtown NYC to go home for the night, and my brother Macbeth and a pretty, dark-haired singer like Laura Nyro were with me. I was anxious to leave the office before nightfall because something was haunting the space. We had t wrestle Annabelle, Stella, and Thatch into their carriers, and there was something like a small dirty and battered puppy stuck between the windw sill and the screen. I thought it was Thatch at first, and when I touched it, it flew up into the blinds. My brother kept rushing us to get out of the building to meet our ride. He and the singer-songwriter headed for the exit door. I was siging something ad the singer asked what it was. I said something back like, your a songwriter who doesn't know Cryer and Ford?
They went through the exit door and I realized I had not locked the office so I had to go back, a thought that had me very frightened. I was carrying Thatch's carrier and when I looked inside to check on him, he looked wizened and shriveled. That's when I woke.'
