I just looked it up. Tiler Peck and Justin Peck are not related.

Well, today's going to be a long tech/rehearsal for Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol.  We tech people need to be at the space by 10:00 a.m., but the actors aren't called that early.  A meal will be provided, so that'll be nice.  We'll decide what the meal will be when we're all together.

I did not sleep well. Aroubd 4:00 Annabelle wanted under the blankets and Thatch wanted to sleep next to me. Then I had a real panic attack about tomorrow's surgery: what if there's not enough anesthesia? what if I fall on the apartment steps, etc. I finally had to get up just to calm down.

I am not a fan of Tony Kushner for the most part, but I really enjoyed his screenplay for Spielberg's Lincoln.

Strange night of sleep. At times, I felt too hot, others too cold. Not always separately.

I'm listening to Bryn Terfel's Christmas album. As soon as Bryn jumps into the calypso "Mary's Boy Child," Thatch dances around the apartment.

Today is the most blessed day off ever.

Well, it seems that way. No show, no church services, no funerals, not even any errands that have to be run. Thank you, universe.

So, plenty of ketchup, with much of it being the three us cleaning up the house and putting up a few decorations. That will be good. We'll be doing a tree but it's going up late this year because of all of our schedules (pronounced "shedjules", the British way).

Tomorrow will be enjoyable, too. I'll be ketchuping on various and sundry personal things in the morning. At noon I'll go up and let my bass player into the theeder where he left his bass last night, not remembering that he needs it for a gig tomorrow night. Woops.

Finally, I'll be spending the entire evening at the uniquely wonderful Bedford Playhouse watching a preview of the 3-hour BABYLON with Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie.

Actually, to be perfectly clear, they won't be there watching the movie with me. But they're in the movie and will be up there on the big screen, which will be nice.

For now,

More coffee!

And it's about time to put some holiday or holiday-ish music on.

Happy first Sunday of December!  There's a new Broadway Radio Show available for your listening pleasure.  I am joined by Eric Price and Will Reynolds to chat about their new musical The Violet Hour and its brand new studio cast recording (I think it's one of the best cast recordings of the year!)...check it out
