I'm all caught up now.

An email to the dealer along with a copy of the estimate for repairs have been sent.  Rehearsal for Matilda went well.

Had the call from Muse Margaret - two calls actually. The first call too her to page 167 and she pretty much loved everything. She had a few tiny things and wants me to give a bit more time to some secondary characters - minor stuff, which I can do easily at some point. The second call she sounded really tired and she had one issue that I'd been fearing but she didn't want me to do anything until she read it again in the morning when she's not tired. But I went through those pages and I was feeling what she's feeling when I wrote them, so I highlighted in yellow about two pages of potential cuts which I think will fix it all - I think she'll agree. But while I was doing that, I had a real breakthrough about the rest of the book and I think it's really good and I'll run it by her when she calls. It solves several problems I was concerned about and will make everything work better in the final sixty or so pages.

I did not stay last night and missed some excitement when, apparently, the obstruction resolved.  He feels much better today, but will have laparoscopic surgery tomorrow to see if we can find out what has been causing these episodes (of which this was the most severe).

Vibes for an uneventful outcome would be appreciated.

Most definitely!

So, my friend pug (artistic director for Theater Artists Olympia) is thinking about the next play that TAO should do.

At first, she wanted me (as treasurer of TAO) to just get the rights, but it required payment up front ($105/performance) and the purchase of five copies of the script.

So she had me buy one copy of the script for now so that she can make sure that this is what she wants to direct.

Well, the script arrived Saturday, but I forgot to check my mail that day, so I'll bring it to her tomorrow.

And if you broke monologs like this into smaller chunks (like I just did), we could be on page 17 by now!

My desktop computer was running kinda slow, so, for the first time in quite a while, I'm clearing the cache and browsing history to hopefully speed it up.

29 years ago, this night, I came home from karaoke you find my answering machine, flashing red or iMessage. We all remember those machines. Don’t worry even though I knew I was expecting a call from my mom who I’ve been leaving messages for all day, and my sister regular messages went back-and-forth all day while we drive to arrange having lunch with my mom the next day and Martin Luther King birthday. And yet when I saw the red flashing light, my body went cold my legs were like ice.
