I am also thinking about DR Danise as her funeral was yesterday morning.  I have a photo of her beautiful grave marker.

If anyone would like to see it, and know more details, ask and I will send you a PM.

DR Jane, I would like those details.  It had crossed my mind, when we first lost Danise, that I’m the closest of us to Pittsburgh and maybe I could represent us at her services.  The way our week unfolded, I’m glad I didn’t make that commitment.

DR elmore3003 - wondering if you might find relief sleeping in a recliner. Worth a thought.

You assume two things:
1. I own a recliner
2. My apartment has space for a recliner ;)

It was a nice thought.  I also would have liked to have gone.  Winter didn't make it easy.  Poor Thelma could not go.

My brother Randy and sister-in-law Jo gave me a Kindle for Christmas many years ago. I found I preferred a real book, so it sits in a drawer somewhere in the apartment.

Saturday afternoon greetings!  It’s a little dreary here - inside AND out.
Same here.

Ditto.

Ditto. It does have a magnet which turns it on when I open the cover and turns the screen off when I close it. At least, I think it does. Does anyone ever really know if the refrigerator light goes off when you close the door?

LOL.  I no longer have a cover with a magnetic strip.  I do know they really shut the light off and work-lol

I had friends whose cat loved to rest in the fridge. She knew. But she never told anyone.

My $7.99 amaryllis bulb, bought on a whim, is now putting forth its third shoot of flowers. They are gorgeous.

We are taking off on a little adventure, to a supper club about 45 minutes away. We are meeting two other couples, high school classmates of the DH, for supper. Which I guess is a good place to get it - at a supper club.

One thing I love about the Internet is the ability to peruse a menu in advance.

No. And they don't sing Shipoopi.

LOL, however, if the cat was in the fridge the door would have to stay open for the cat to breathe.

I do enjoy doing that though often it doesn't show the entire menu.

I apparently did miss season two of Miss Scarlet. So now I can watch season 2 on disc and season 3 online.

Beautiful Noise is tiny notes from Neil Diamond and Bob Gaudio instead of liner notes. Music Man has three sets of notes, including one on the recording from Peter Filichia, whom I normally like. All three are sadly dull.

I started listening to A Beautiful Noise. It's OK, but not great. Kind of like a theme park musical tribute or a Vegas show. But the songs themselves are wonderful and make me long to hear the originals again.

I'm kinda hoping the new WOKE lyrics for songs in THE MUSIC MAN do not become the ones used for productions and schools and community theatres......
