TOD:

It's a problem....created by stupid people.....who don't want to know anything except what they think they know....which is usually wrong.

And of course with the inner web - everyone thinks he is an expert on everything.

MR BK's example is typical but certainly almost psychotic.

No luck with Wordle today.   Today's word seemed appropriate for some reason...

Big wet flakes, probably started as a mix.

It's already sticking to the ground and on leaves. It's supposed to continue for another few hours and not accumulate more than an inch on roads.

Of course I'd like even less than that on my driveway. (Yeah, keep dreaming.)

TOD:
1. Many years ago I was forced out of a chat room because they said I hated gays because I disliked "Rent."

2. A couple weeks ago I made up a recipe of rice chex, pretzels, and M&Ms, then melted some almond bark and mixed it in. It's called "white trash."  I was told I was racist.

I have a zoom meeting this morning. As I always say, no one needs to know what's in my coffee mug.

I tend to keep a low profile out there in the wilds of Facebook. That doesn't mean I won't correct or challenge someone on something, but I don't press on any further than that. And I leave differences of opinion completely alone. Or mostly alone. I think. I think I do. I mean, more or less.

BK's example, and Laura's example, and a multitude of others, show how dangerous it is to say just about anything among people you don't know and who don't know you, or any other situation in which a basic understanding can't be easily attained.
