While not exactly weird, it was a haircut I never would have agreed to.  What I agreed to was for the hairdresser to cut off MOST of my blond ends off.

He got carried away and left me looking like Twiggy, except no longer blond.  Everywhere I went guys kept commenting on how I looked like her.

I hated it so much I never let my photo be taken.  I am sorry now I don't have a photo.

Finally it was below my shoulders for our wedding.  I might have gotten it shaped a little bit by my mother's hairdresser, before the wedding.  He also did my hair just that morning.

After that it was years before I went to a hairdresser again.  Keith would trim the ends for me.

These days I probably get my hair done around every three months.

If I want my hair longer I can go four months or more.

Not getting my hair cut during the pandemic wasn't a big deal to me, except I had to learn how to cut my bangs.

I've been very busy doing Things That Must Be Done (TTMBD). You know the kind. One derives little or no pleasure from them and the best that can be said is, "Well, that's done."

Today the handyman came by to look at my damaged kitchen ceiling. When the manager arranged the meeting she implied that she would be there. I spent considerable time tidying, cleaning, tossing, and so on, only to learn that she would not be here. Sigh. It all needed to be done anyway, but it's a bit annoying.

I hate such implications DR JEANNE - especially if they lead to work.

The handyman and I are in sync as to what we think should be done, but we don't have the authority to do it. If the manager again says that she wants to tear out the ceiling she'll have a fight from me, as she has had in the past. I abhor the lack of consideration that is shown to tenants. Hopefully, she and the owner will agree to our proposal.

I am quite worn out from these hassles. I find that fixing things right -- the FIRST time -- saves you both money and annoyance in the long run. But I'm probably in the minority.

I prefer that she not be here, but I would have liked to have known.   >:(  Grrr.

My State Tax Return has been accepted.  My Federal Return was accepted about a week ago......so I am square with the governments.

Congratulations, DR Jrand72.

Thursday evening greetings!  Richard had a previously-scheduled dental appointment today and he drove there (and back) himself.
