I saw him when he replaced Lewis Stadlen in the 1974 Candide. He was very good and very funny.

Back from soundcheck - I printed out my lyrics in 16 pt. (usually 12) to be sure I could read them - I couldn't. On the way home I stopped at CVS and got reading glasses and those seem to do the trick. I always thought reading glasses were cheap - these were not cheap.
