Tapping on a Sunday with George? ;D

It’s a new approach.

I made some chicken & noodles for today and tomorrow and probably Wednesday.

But I only used 8 oz. of noodles so maybe it won't be SO MUCH!

Went to a noodle shop yesterday. I took one noodle from the bowl and it was more than three feet long. Made me think of Lucy.

In the finale, the cast, bearing pastries, taps around the baker in a doughnut formation.

I am liking this new "take" on Sunday. I think it will be a box office bonanza!

Just remembered seeing Charles Kimbrough is a daffy, inspired revival of Noel Coward’s Hay Fever. At one point, he sits down to a ghastly breakfast and remarks to another guest, “It’s not very good, is it?” He turned that one line into a master class of timing snd delivery. The laughter was long and raucous. That whole production was a joy.

I took a brief Winter Term "course" for beginning tappers many, many years back. It was great fun.

Here's a wonderful cut from Renee Fleming's Grammy-winning recital disc:

She is joined by Alison Krauss and Rhiannon Giddens.

Access-a-Ride was great today. I proofread the Overture, and I think my work on Dear World is over. I told Joshie I could come in Friday if he needed me. The next three days are tied up with doctor's appointments.

Goof Afternoon - First chance today to sit down and catch up.  I haven't even done the Wordle yet.  It's been a busy morning.  My 3rd graders sang for the Senior Outreach Luncheon - 2 songs from The Sound of Music - "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria" and "Climb Every Mountain".  They did well.  My 7th grade is starting work on parodies, by 8th grade is being really big lazy pains in the ass, and everything else seems be be going well.  Hooray for all.

Speaking of HORRAY - HORRAY to DR George on your casting.  It'll be great fun.

Other than that, it's time for a meeting....
