Another question:

I was telling someone about having seen The Thomas Crown Affair last night, and they asked what other films of that period utilized that wacky tiling system of showing multiple shots or scenes at once on the screen? I know there are other examples, and it's killing me that I can't come up with one.

Edit:  I don't mean simple split screen, which goes at least as far back as Pillow Talk. Brian De Palma is one who was big on that in his thrillers. I'm talking about multiple tiled images of various sizes moving around on a black background.

I don’t have to see the doctor again for six months. And I am cutting back on one drug.

Very good.

And thanks to the Maunjaro, I now weigh 177, far less than my pandemic 210 or my worst-ever 225.

Congratulations.  What is your goal?

On This Day in 1983, the play Moose Murders flopped spectacularly on Broadway. Frank Rich wrote, "A visit to 'Moose Murders' is what will separate the connoisseurs of Broadway disaster from mere dilettantes for many moons to come."

Pillow Talk.

That's what I was calling "simple split screen". I mean like this, with two or more scenes or camera shots represented...

Well, it seems the folder has been emptied and we can post photos again.

Regarding DR John G.'s posting about bread the other day, a college friend of mine has been exploring bread baking during the pandemic. Here is one of his:

I don’t have one since I haven’t been this skinny in 30 years. I’m down almost to a 32-inch waist.
