As I was reading posts the internet went down. Came back up ten minutes later, finished reading and was about to post and it went down again

The first summer I lived in Manhattan, 1979, the Beacon Theatre had a Cult Film Festival. I do not remember now all that I saw, but I did see The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Bambi Meets Godzilla, and Schlock.

I used to own all the Peary cult movie books. They went out in 2008 during the bedbug mess. I wish I had them now.

DR Elmore introduced me to an insane cult movie with Allen Garfield. Do you remember that thing? Not sure how big the cult is, but that was a jaw-dropper. I gotta look up the title.

Just came back on. Hopefully, it will stay that way. No rain today, so no excuse and we never lost the Internet even during the worst of the rain.

Using the mic to dictate posts is really easy, I must say.

Before the inner web, there used to be a lot of interesting well written books about films new & used.

Now that everybody can post his ideas on the internet - there's so much less scholarship involved.....and truth.

Nobody in this one-horse town will change the battery in my SMART CAR because it's not "under the hood."

I forgot my nephew works on cars - so he's going to put it in on Thursday.  I did find out that a new battery will cost me $209 - base price.

I'm getting a new one because I don't know exactly how old this battery is.....

And huzzah for DR George as well, on finishing his big project.

Thanks, Singdaw!

As someone said, Cry Uncle is the title - I saw it at the Vogue Theater, if memory serves. Mr Garfield, at that time, was dating my friend Dee Dee Siegler from LACC - she would, just one year later, marry my cousin Alan Feinberg. Such are the labyrinthine ways of things.
