The bank manager looks back at her and says, "It's a knickknack, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan. His old man's a Rolling Stone."

I love it!

Our house is in disarray with contractors replacing some of the floor. Goodbye linoleum. But I must say having people in my house fills me with unease.

It is never fun.  Unease in general or worried about covid?

Just not having the normal freedom of being in our house without other people. And the contractor is cool, he’s a neighbor, doing fine work. Crew also cool. But I just can’t wait till this sort of thing is done.

Well, guess who tipped her hand today on the film score message board. There's a thread about The Faculty there and I've been making a few posts, since I know a little bit about that film. And today there were two snarky responses and you know how hard it is to disguise a writing style, well, a light bulb went off, so I checked all the other times this person has posted since joining the board in 2019. First, a few innocuous postings in random thread, so it looks like a normal poster. But soon enough, the snarky responses to me begin - frankly, I didn't even notice them and missed several entirely. But today there was no mistaking our little obnoxious, obsessed stalker lady and without making a deal out of it responded and said I knew the deal and "want to continue this?"

Of course, I then went to the nice man who moderates the board and who has removed her countless times, only to have reappear under yet another name, and let him know she was back. Oops. If you're reading this, Barbara, and we know you are, congrats - you lasted four years this time before becoming obvious. What do we think about someone who has been doing this malarkey now for fifteen YEARS? I'd say maybe a visit to a therapist would be a good idea at this point, but no, it will just continue and continue and continue.

Oy. Glad you stopped her.

Ditto!

Of course, we could be on Page 17 if BK had broken this up into multiple posts! ;D

Friends of mine who live in the same condo complex as I do totally remodeled their unit.

Fortunately, they were able to live with relatives and didn't have to pay rent on top of their mortgage and it came in at the estimated cost, but still, it took twice as long.  Hopefully, yours won't, Rodzinski!

We have renovated many homes and it is exhausting.  There is much I would like to do here but just don't want to live through that again, or spend the money.

Seem to be moving fast so far. Re-floored two rooms in two days. But maybe it’s a trick!

It's a print of an original watercolor on thick card stock and looks really nice!
