The bank manager looks back at her and says, "It's a knickknack, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan. His old man's a Rolling Stone."

Quote from: bk on March 01, 2023, 05:53:04 PMWell, guess who tipped her hand today on the film score message board. There's a thread about The Faculty there and I've been making a few posts, since I know a little bit about that film. And today there were two snarky responses and you know how hard it is to disguise a writing style, well, a light bulb went off, so I checked all the other times this person has posted since joining the board in 2019. First, a few innocuous postings in random thread, so it looks like a normal poster. But soon enough, the snarky responses to me begin - frankly, I didn't even notice them and missed several entirely. But today there was no mistaking our little obnoxious, obsessed stalker lady and without making a deal out of it responded and said I knew the deal and "want to continue this?" Of course, I then went to the nice man who moderates the board and who has removed her countless times, only to have reappear under yet another name, and let him know she was back. Oops. If you're reading this, Barbara, and we know you are, congrats - you lasted four years this time before becoming obvious. What do we think about someone who has been doing this malarkey now for fifteen YEARS? I'd say maybe a visit to a therapist would be a good idea at this point, but no, it will just continue and continue and continue. Oy. Glad you stopped her.

WFO says “hi!” He seems to be settling in just fine

And the contractor is cool, he’s a neighbor, doing fine work. Crew also cool. But I just can’t wait till this sort of thing is done.

It was supposed to take two months, but it took FOUR!
Fortunately, they were able to live with relatives and didn't have to pay rent on top of their mortgage and it came in at the estimated cost, but still, it took twice as long. Hopefully, yours won't, Rodzinski!
Today was a lovely day. For the first time in awhile we went for an afternoon walk.
Look what arrived today from Etsy!
