Good question.

Yes. I can scream on Slack. I don’t actually scream, but I’m usually not quiet.

The good news is the food poisoning seems to have abated - no bathroom visits in three hours, no upset tummy (actually, I never had an upset tummy) and I'm hungry, so I may order something mild. I'd sent Uber a note mentioning the food poisoning and that I thought it was probably the pastrami, which is exactly what I think it was, and they surprised me by refunding the entire cost of the meal, so that was nice.

That was nice.  I am glad you are feeling better.

So, now I'll figure out food, mild food. What IS mild food, anyway?

For me, scrambled eggs and toast.

Rice and beans, perhaps?

Rice but not the beans.

It seems to be going around. I should have taken the afternoon off work, I was running to the bathroom so frequently.

Oh no, feel better.

Sometime during the first few years of our marriage the three cats were very sick.  Between the vet bills and buying prime bits of meat to get them to eat, I baked a lot of bread for us as that was all we could afford.

That is good news regarding both...issues!

She wants to order a cake from Costco but doesn't want to go alone, so I'm going with her.

Starting a three-hour weepie called Since You Went Away with Claudette Colbert, a grown Shirley Temple, Jennifer Jones, Joseph Cotton, Monty Woolley, Lionel Barrymore, Robert Walker and a great Max Steiner music.

I found Kewpie mayo at the store today. It’s supposed to be good in tuna salad, which I am making for a potluck Wednesday.
