Ladies and germs, The Weather Report.
As far as yesterday's nor'easter turned out, we got... more or less... A DUSTING.
This was to be the storm that could have dropped anywhere from 3-to-6 to 4-to-8 to 6-to-12 right here.
Nearby locations and higher elevations did indeed get six inches to a foot or more, but the local weather people said this storm should make history for being the hardest to forecast. Its makeup changed continually over the preceding couple of days, and even when it got here, there was no accuracy in predicting what areas would get how much snow, or any snow at all.
So we lucked out. Tremendously. It was a gift.
