DR ELMORE I always like to pretend that Karen Black's character in Five Easy Pieces moved to Nashville and became Connie White in Nashville.

And yes Abilene was on track to become a STAR....because of what happened at the Parthenon.

Poor little Gaylene - she couldn't sing and as a stripper she was even worse.

I really like Keith Carradine, Lily Tomlin, Ronee Blakeley, and Geraldine Chaplin in NASHVILLE, too.....well I like everyone. And the songs are spot on.

I went to the gas station $3.849 and to the bank.

When I got home, since rain is predicted for Friday and Saturday....I decided to mow the back yard......then I went ahead and mowed the front/side yard.....and I am still recovering....

Tonight I am attending a dance recital. I am connected to it by an acquaintance. I am not sure what to expect, but i have been told to bring earplugs on account of the first number. Oh joy.

I got to know Keith Carradine a bit when he starred in Paint Your Wagon at Encores! He's a sweetheart. I want him to play the lead in Moonshine & Mistletoe.
