I took our upstairs dog to our little dog park today.  Fortunately a neighbor joined us with her two dogs.

The poor old boy can't play much anymore but he does enjoy the company.

Well, I must get myself ready for today's ushering.  Hopefully, I'll be back in time for the Zooming.

Until later!

Well, the silent movie's over but I won't be able to get home for even part of the Zoom. :(

What is this hopefully I'll be back in time malarkey? I based this on everyone's schedule. I do hope you'll all be there because otherwise no peas and porridge.

I know, I know...but reality set in.  I hope everyone who's able to Zoom has a great time!

Today, long pants and a coat over a lightweight sweat shirt.

It's a bit overcast here in Olympia.  Yesterday was beautiful.

A little photographic evidence for your viewing pleasure.

You know what to do.

The play was fantastic.

What a great great introduction to Marat/Sade. Absolutely riveting.

And yes, DR Elmore, the music is wonderful.  Sadly, no conductor score.  Because:  no conductor.  Because:  no band.  Because:  just a piano (keyboard).  The guy played it fine, but I sure would like to have a go at it sometime.

I'm speaking from some ignorance here regarding this play, but though I'm a huge proponent of musicals being portrayed (excellently) on duo pianos or even just piano, it seems to me that this particular play would lend itself to perhaps mixing it up a little bit with, say, some harmonium, or organ? Maybe some harp or something? I dunno... I'll have to take out my Caedmon set and listen to the original band.

Better yet, get the DVD.

I think I have that DVD...somewhere.

USPS lost a package on April 10, and today I got an email from Amazon saying an order had been delivered to my door today. They kindly enclosed a photo of it sitting in fornt of a door. Only there are two problems with the photo: my door doesn't sit against a wall and there's no floor like that in my building!

Oh, my goodness! :o

There was. We always knew she craved to steal the spotlight from Annabelle!

There was? I kept trying to get Thatch to jump up and say hello.

I kept looking over to see if Mikey was going to crawl out from under the blankets. He'd been taking a nap and it was time for him to come out and demand his evening meal. Now, of course, he's up.
