Although I feel about the monarchy much like the majority of youthful Brits, ie, that their wealth should be better distributed, I saw a new side to the coronation today: a chance to party, to celebrate their country, and take a break from the mundane work world. I was pleased to see lots of street parties and celebrations. The last several years have not been easy for them.

As pleased as I am to know about this organization— how could I have missed it? — I have to wonder if our dear Singdaw has too much time on his hands. Then again, we all relax in different ways and who am I to discourage this pursuit?

Back from a LOOOOOONG play - The Laramie Project. The director decided to take its three acts and make them two - never a good idea - so, act one is an hour and act two is over ninety minutes. I didn't love the play itself - it's a little too, I don't know, uninvolving due to the way it's structured and, at times, coyly written.
