Our last lawn mower was a tractor, it is very likely they have changed since we used one.

DR Jrand, do you know someone that might let you try their mower to see if you like it?

How big is your lawn, JRand? And how flat is it? These are key questions. Today I wished I had a self-propelled mower on our slope out front.

I do love having a battery-powered mower though. Not dealing with gas is worth it!

I agree with you 50%. And I don’t know who Jamie Bernstein is. Draw your own conclusions.

We sort of inherited a lady who mowed the lawn here when the house was vacant. She also mows the empty lots across the street. She asked if we wanted her to continue. I said yes. She keeps coming. But I can’t get her to invoice us. I walked outside with cash once, she was like, “no I need to invoice you. That’s on me.” I literally can’t pay this person!

Certain sloped sections she won’t mow, so I go touch up.

Went to Tuesday Morning. Different store from last week. The sale is still only 10% off, but the place looked picked through.

Just grabbed a cold Italian sub at a favorite pizza joint. They still had one of my reviews up on the wall. Nice.

I hired Seth on a couple of early Bay Cities things - Anastasia Affaire and Classical Broadway. He was very nice and fun to work with. At some point, that changed as he got his Sirius show and began his descent into pure ego.

I interviewed her years ago. She was a delight. And she was surprised I knew all of her work including her poetry and her book on the mining strike.

I’m now watching Living. Bill Nighy was robbed of the Oscar. As good as Fraser was, and he was excellent, Nighy is better.

Makes me want to watch Ikiru again.
