One of my stage directions is that I have to sit on a fellow actor as he reclines pretending to be dead.

The directions are that I sit on his crotch. I get up and sit back down two or three times. And he can't stop laughing.

How many channels did everyone have when they were growing up....before cable?

We had four channels and then five when PBS showed up in the late sixties.

WLWI was ABC, WFBM was NBC, WISH was CBS, and WTTV was an independent station.

One time our goat got out on the road in front of the school bus. It was very embarrassing. My mother came out in her housecoat and got it back inside the fence.

It was the talk of school that day.

Since we were the first ones on the bus and the last ones off - sometimes the driver let me put out the stop sign when he stopped to pick up kids. That was very exciting as well....although not GOAT level excitement.

I did not see a color photograph of Van Cliburn until he was on the cover of LIFE magazine - when I discovered he had RED hair.

I was sure that we would be married and live a lovely life in Texas, his home state. And as I have written before I thought Van Cliburn was his last name, so I searched in vain to discover what his first name might be.

I decided that I would just call him Tex Van Cliburn when we were out on a date.

We had an Edsel at one time.

The first time we drove around in it, I started to roll my window down in the back seat and the handle came off in my hand.

That was just the beginning of the troubles with the car.....in fact it was so bad and caused such friction between my parents that.....
