Congratulations on your rehearsed date, JRand.

Jrand is the sitter, and the other guy the sittee, I guess.

I thought the sittee was going to say to DR Jrand72, "Usually, they buy me dinner first."

The rub is, when you do, you find out how much more a self-propelled weighs than a regular mower.

I started watching some Japanese kaiju movie and got about forty seconds in after the titles and went out like a light for an hour.

Gonna get a snack of some sort shortly. DoorDash has a five-dollar off late-night deal so why not.

The biggest savings would be Fat Sal's - 40% off whatever item AND five bucks more.

From Rodzinski:
Quote
Literally the heaviest book I ever attempted to read

It isn't as heavy as Les Misérables ;)

Never attempted to read that one.

I remember the musical coming out when I was in college and I bought the paperback edition of the unedited version.

That sounds like a fun play DR GEORGE.

In our meeting yesterday - of the program committee - which has WAY too many people on it - several of the folks were recommending shows ONLY because they want to be in them.

I kept saying SUGAR is not a well known name and our audiences might not be familiar with it - not the real reason I kept saying no....but because of the two fools who have been in the show at some horrible theatre one county over and want to repeat their roles....which they were awful in to begin with.

Hopefully we will be able to secure the rights to the two shows we chose and we don't have to add SUGAR instead.....it's a dog of a show.....although I was instructed that if I promote it as "the stage version of Some Like It Hot" people will be fighting to get tickets.

My friend pug usually won't cast someone in a role that they've already played, especially if she had directed them in the role previously.  She wants to see something different from them.

Even if they specifically say that they want to play the same role, she most likely won't cast them in that role...she'll cast them in the show, but not in the same role.

Oh and my brother decided we would go get my new lawn mower tomorrow.

The more I read about self-propelled mowers, the less I want one.....

If any DR has an opinion to share it would be most appreciated.

My mom has one and she loves it.

I've used it and actually like it, too...you just have to get used to it and learn how to control the speed.
