I watched a great 1964 low-budget indy movie on YouTube last night. Called “Light Fantastic.” The reason I found it is I found the soundtrack LP on the streets of Washington Heights years ago. This LP was much easier to find than the film. It’s a shame the budget was so low (bad sound, amateurish lighting, etc), because the lead performers are quite compelling in this story of an odd wallflower who falls for her cad dance instructor. Fun to see all the location filming all around NYC. Jean “Christmas Story” Sheppard in a key role.
