I'm not a Venmo expert, but in talking to people, they seem to like it better than PayPal. I don't know if you have to make an account or not to use it - you don't at PayPal (PayPal, by the way, bought Venmo). So far, it seems to be working fine. If you do make an account it's really easy. I had to make one a year ago to get a payment and it was a snap.

That scumbag Santos is giving a press conference. I just want to see him die. That POS McCarthy will do nothing because he needs Santos' vote.

Thank you, all, for the house-hunting vibes.  We have eliminated one from consideration, but we’re going back next week for a closer look at the other.  Meanwhile, Ashley says she won’t show it to anyone else.

For ASK BK Day:

BK, who is the guy singing the bonus track ("Everything Is Gonna Be All Right") on the album for Welcome to My World? iTunes doesn't have any track information.

I think this backing track is the infamous one that caused you trouble during shooting.

That is good, DR Ginny. So if that house ends up being THE ONE, that would rapidly move up your timetable?

Another ASK BK question:

Is this one of the Bagley albums that Kritzerland has reissued?

Kind of, DR Singdaw.  We’ve always intended to make a move like this before Richard turns 80 (in 3 years).  But we’ve gotten fed up with home maintenance and decided to act sooner rather than later.  With all that needs to be done to the house we’re considering, I’d say we have until Thanksgiving - if not longer.

Corey Fogelmanis from Girl Meets World. I had no idea who he was but Sami knew him.

Does anyone here have an e-bike (electric bike)? They seem to be becoming all the rage.

DR Jrand72:

BEST audition song this past weekend:  "In My Dreams" from Anastasia. I don't know the show, but that's a beautiful song. I also like another one ("Journey to the Past") that's been placed in front of me recently, but not as much as this one.

There were two WORST songs:  1. Some hideous thing that was sort of disco-ish that was poorly copied, poorly marked, tough to sightread, and tough to follow the singer in ... because it was so poorly marked with her silly little cuts. An unbeatable combination. But even beyond that, it was just a crappy song. I'm sorry I don't even know what it was. I'll try to find out.

2. "Try to Remember" - brought in by a gentleman who's playing El Gallo a few towns over, as we speak. I'm supposed to see that production in a week and a half. But now I'm scared. Very scared. This is a guy who gets cast in a lot of mediocre productions (and he might very well be cast this time because, as usual, they're short on men), but I've never been able to stand his particular brand of mediocrity. Anyway, I wasn't surprised that he would choose the song, but I was stunned at the truly crappy sheet music arrangement he brought in. Again, this one was so poorly photocopied that you could hardly read the song title at the top of the page. And then he sang it just as horribly as it looked. It was stunning, and I was stunned.

These lucky winners were selected from only the dozen or so people who've shown up so far. It's been a low turnout. If I'm available when they have another round of auditions, who knows? Some lucky soul might stand a good chance of snatching one of the above two prizes.

Thank you for that entertaining read, DR ChasSmith, though purchased as it were at such an awful cost. (Candide, anyone?)
