Back to sandwiches, I feel that fresh, high-quality bread is of great importance. That is often overlooked. But it makes a big difference to this customer.

Amen. I hate spongy bread that has no character. Blimpie used to have the worst bread. I haven’t been in years because of it.

I liked Blimpie, but they closed their one store around here years ago.

Topic of the Day:  Pellegrino's, a local Italian restaurant, makes the best Monte Cristo that I've ever had.  It's only on their lunch menu, so I can't get it in the evening.

Another local place, Red Wagon, has a pretty good Club sandwich.

Sandwiches that I make at home are usually just what I have on hand, which isn't much for sandwiches.  Right now, I have some hard boiled eggs that my sister gave me, so I'll be making some egg salad sandwiches soon.

Preview Harvey makes a pretty mean Swiss cheese sandwich that sent me to the store to make my own. It’s plain and simple, but that’s what made it sound so good.

I’m indifferent to too many sandwiches around here because this isn’t a bread town. It’s a tortilla town.

Dancing was fun. Trying to help a couple learn to move together. They tried and started to get it.

I saw a comic on the Jerry Lewis Telethon once I wish I could find again. He was an old-timer. His schtick was to put his hand up to his face like he was removing a mask, and when he did, he would change facial expressions and personalities while casting off the old “mask” to the floor. He was so fast at this that the illusion that he was changing masks seemed real and he sped the whole thing up in hilarious fashion.
