It’s never too early to encourage the coughing in the arm, by the way.

Nope. I think they gave up for now.  I have had a few good ones in my face.

DR Ron I want to write a play based on just your experience of seeing that play! That was a rollercoaster of emotions! Does kind of sound like a neat idea.

Well I am pleased to report that even with my wrapped arm, I was able to start the new self-propelled mower.

I had decided to mow the back yard.  And indeed the time for mowing was cut IN HALF.....31 minutes instead of nearly 62 minutes.

WONDERFUL!

I know this shot has been posted before, but one of DR TCB's friends just posted it to his FB page.

It is a great photo of him.

As of this moment, the A/C appears to be fixed.

Thank goodness.

I will gladly submit to your questions.

Very well.

Mary, Peter, and Lucy were picking chestnuts. Mary picked twice as many chestnuts as Peter. Lucy picked 2 pounds more than Peter. Together, the three of them picked 26 pounds of chestnuts. How many pounds did each of them pick?

Who cares? Chestnuts are mealy and not very good.

Nice to see the photo of TCB. I hadn’t seen one of him so young.

Vibes to Rodzinski’s father-in-law and coping vibes all around. I’m glad you’re all there to help them through this.

Lots of good news today from Elmore. It sounds like you’re on the right track, despite the incident.

Today was full of banking mishaps. The rent on my safe deposit box renews next week and I wanted to surrender the box before then as part of my transition to the new bank. I called the new bank the other day. Yes, they had a box available, but a size down from what I preferred. Today I went to the old bank to empty out the box. When I walked in there were only two other customers in the bank, both being helped. I walked up to the unoccupied teller and said I wanted to surrender my box. She asked if I had an appointment.  An appointment? No. She said she could book one for Monday. What?  I’m here now and there’s only one other customer besides me. (My thought, not my words.)  After telling me I’d have to wait, a coworker spoke to her and she was suddenly available. I cannot understand not helping a customer who is standing right in front of you. I emptied, then surrendered the box.

I then went to the new bank, only to learn that they didn’t have the size box I needed after all. But they were very nice and were actually helpful. That bank was completely empty of customers.

I guess it’s time to find homes for all my jewels and other valuables. I was told that safe deposit boxes are very hard to come by these days. I would add, so is good customer service.
