Had a 90-minute massage. The pain is less intense.

Very good news, John.

If I lived near you, DR Ron, I'd come by with some tools and a can of Deoxit D5 and get your doorbell to stop ringing. Sounds like you have a short, maybe just need to clean the button and contacts.

Well, I am almost always here if you find yourself in my neck of the woods!!

People on TV around here drive me nuts with their "I seen him do it" vernacular.

Number means very little, either, including to newscasters.

And while we are in that ball park:

I have a pet peeve -- and I guess folks think it's silly for me to have it.  The word "mischievous" has THREE syllables.  Not FOUR.  THREE.

Yet, time and again I hear it pronounced with four when folks add an "i" between the "v" and "o" and change the pronunciation from

MISS-chuh-vuss to Miss-CHEE-vee-us.

It is not an an alternative pronunciation.  It's a regionalism

And it gets my goat every time I hear it.

I get the feeling a thunderstorm is rolling in.

Oh, GREAT!

It was sunny here when I read this, and now it's thundering and threatening rain HERE...where we are supposed to be free from rain all week.

DRAT!

On a related tangent, I did not know that TUBI is Fox Corp in another guise. Their reputation is tarnished, so they are trying to push their advertisers to this supposedly neutral platform. I won't be supporting.

Here's a good vid, Ron.
If you don't like messing with electricity, the doorbell tends to be a low-wattage item, but a handyman could do it without much trouble.

I have never experienced a phantom doorbell ring.  If that ever happens I now know what to do.

DR Ron you could also replace your doorbell with a video doorbell that records movement at your front door.

I never considered this.  There was a Chinese restaurant my family used to eat at called Hoi Ping.  I loved saying that over and over again ;D

Rodzinski, surprisingly have never been out there to see a show. Always sounded to woodsy to me.
