That's so sad, Larry. :(

Lamb, my favorite, was the first meat I stopped eating.

OMG, this is so weird, sitting here thinking:

"I don't have to get dressed and get ready to go play somewhere.
I can do ... anything I want.

Anything!

And tomorrow is the same - and it's a Friday night!"

In other news, we've had a bunny frequenting the back yard these past few weeks.

He's {sic} out there right now, nibbling on weeds at the edge of the hill behind the house.

Red-Tail hawk Pale Male, a New York celebrity and subject of several children's books, has died at the age of 33.

Sad. I watched that documentary. JB reacted violently. He rarely reacts to a movie.

Just had some fun doing some detective work. I found what I was looking for, so that my instincts were proven right once again. If you'd like to know what I'm talking about - PM me.

I put my car in the shop today. I'm always expecting to hear that it needs major work, but no, they tell me no. It's 12 years old, but has low miles. I got so disgusted with the Volvo dealers when I had my beloved Volvo and started taking it to an independent. They've saved me so much money! This car, an Audi, has needed very little work and the independent doesn't make up needed repairs, like some of the dealers do. So I got off cheaply -- again.

However, last week, probably when I was at the bank, someone scratched the passenger side, an 18 inch long scratch. Sigh. This is why I no longer buy new cars. It's upsetting enough on an old one.

The second Uber driver told me that his day job is testing autonomous vehicles. Eeeekkkk! No way I'd want that job! The idea of a driverless car makes me very uneasy.

Great.  I had a good independent repair place in Ashland and was sorry when they closed shop.

John G, I'm sorry you're having so much trouble with pain and surprised that the acupuncture did n't help. It's usually very effective with pain. Do you stretch at all? I have neck and shoulder problems much like you described every day due to old injuries. I stretch for an hour every morning and find it helpful. It doesn't make me pain-free, but some days I can stretch the tightness out for a few hours.

A wonderful book on stretching:
Bob Anderson's STRETCHING
Easy-to-follow diagrams and a classic in the field

On YouTube I like Jasper at Milton Chiropractic (UK).

Vibes you find some relief soon.

I just spent an hour searching for a new cover for my tablet.  Unfortunately my current case, that is peeling and kind of falling apart, is no longer available.

I like it as it is cushioned and soft, unlike most cases for tablets.

If the photo on the GrubHub solicitation I received is to be believed, they think I should order pizza, eggrolls, chicken wings, and cinnamon buns.

Isn't that what you usually order?    ;)

When I fall asleep reading it doesn't hurt as much with a soft case.

Speaking of fast food, Oscar Meyer is going to start calling their roving wienermobiles "frankmobiles," and fans are not happy.

As well they should be! >:(
