Just knocked off one of the movies on my list: The Conversation.
I hadn't watched it in maybe a decade, and this time was, first and foremost, for seeing and appreciating Cindy Williams.
But oh man, this is right at the top of the heap with the best of the 1970s paranoia films. Pakula had his paranoid trilogy, and Hollywood had its paranoid DECADE. There has never been another period of time like it.
If only Hollywood of the 1970s could have seen what it was to become half a century later...
