Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Almost as much as I hated Felix the Cat.

I have a friend who loves Felix the Cat.

Lovely view DR Rodzinski.  Is the street quiet or does it get busy?

Quiet as can be.

Did anyone else have their mom (or someone else) pin a towel on your shirt's shoulders so that you could run around with a "cape"?

No, but I did put playing cards in my bicycle spokes with clothespins.

Gold Derby interview was really fun. Hopefully, I'll get a link to it.

DR George - there are still a few more hours for you to more fully explore your character's backstory.

Mighty Mouse was one of the few cartoon shows I enjoyed.

After Carson, I outright rejected watching Leno, I stayed with Letterman off and on, and in the later years I outright rejected Conan and the others. I finally gave up on the late night shows.

I enjoyed reading about your memories of watching late night tv.

I, too, loved Mighty Mouse and the song.  I used to sing it a lot when I was a kid.

I loved Superman more, but there were no lyrics to his theme song.

Did anyone else have their mom (or someone else) pin a towel on your shirt's shoulders so that you could run around with a "cape"?

As much as I loved Superman I never did that.  When Craig was little a friend made him a Superman Cape for his birthday.  I still have it someplace.

I cannot imagine my childhood being any different than it was.  I was outside almost all the time during the days...playing with friends, riding my bike.

I never see kids playing outdoors any longer.  And there are children in my neighborhood.

Well, there was one when I first moved here.  His name was Billy Bob (!!) and he rode his bicycle all over my neighborhood.  He was a good, decent kid with whom I had several conversations.   He and his dad were evicted from their small house some years ago...his dad was/is itinerant.  Billy Bob went away to live with his mom.  I have seen his dad out walking from time to time.  I have often wondered if he was on disability, although he walks well enough.

I wish the best for Billy Bob.

I did not like the TerryToons that appeared on Captain Kangaroo....

Mighty Mouse I think got his own show later....I hated Tom Terrific and Heckle & Jeckle.

Awww...poor Heckle...poor Jeckle.

Did you, at least, like Foghorn Leghorn?  Or Droopy?

I might have hated Heckle and Jeckle.  Not keen on the other too, not that I remember them all that well.

If it was on television and Annette Funicello or Lucille Ball weren't in it, I was usually not interested.

I, and our zero guests, are simply aghast and agog.

We loved Joan Davis, Burns and Allen, December Bride and Cleo the talking Bassett Hound.

And there were Soupy Sales and Pinky Lee!

I did not get the charm of Soupy Sales.  I remember when the kids admired him for getting fired, I thought it was a stupid thing to do.

I briefly did that but didn't like it.
