Woodside Cemetery, where most of my family is interred, will not sell odd-numbered plots, so when my cousin's mother died, she was buried next to her husband, but the cemetery would not sell a third plot for my cousin. When my dad learned this, he decided to buy burial plots for all the family: him, my mother, me, my siblings, all my living cousins, so we would all be buried in one locale. My brother Macbeth is now claiming he paid for all of these plots, but the truth is, I suspect my dad's construction company paid for them.
Since the Macbeths, when my brother took over the company from my father, have always treated the company's bank account as their personal account - something I tried to squelch when my dad died in 2007 - I suspect he's now trying to gouge money from my cousins. He's a real shit.
