DR Elmore, there’s an article in today’s Journal-News about Middletown Lyric Theatre’s 45th anniversary and their current production of “Sunday in the Park with George.”

Did they mention me or Jim Martin?

Alas, no.  I’ve mentioned to the current executive director several times that I was a member when the organization was founded and his disinterest has been palpable.

I can't stand that lack of interest in the history of an organization. Happens here, too. They either don't care to explore it at all, or they cherry-pick a few factoids and get half of those wrong.

This was Times Square at 2:15pm.

On the right kind of night with a low overcast, a little pollution, and plenty of light reflection, that could just as easily be 2:15 am.

The additional performance of GREASE sold out in 30 minutes.

Because of cast conflicts - we can't add any more.

I will be glad when it's over.

I wish it was a better production.

Wednesday afternoon greetings!  We also have an air quality alert due to the Canadian wildfires, all the way down here in SW Ohio.

Wow.

We need some pictures of clear skies and sparkling seas from DR John G. to cleanse our palates.

I agree.

That wasn't nice of him.

My friend who's father died before she could move back to the states in in PA.  Her young daughter has been talking about the smoke.

I am reminded of living in Ashland when smoke from the California,  Oregon, and Washington fires would settle in our valley.

My question for ASK BK DAY:

When you did an episode of a television show did you get to see the finished product before it aired or did you have to wait?

Nope - not for a TV episode. We saw 'em when they aired.

Up at nine-thirty - seven hours of sleep, and barely any time to shave and shower and meet for the early meal, which happened at Mel's five minutes from here, thankfully. Never had a chance to post.
