But I am shaken.

At least you weren't stirred.

It is Monday.....we are re-recording an interview hoping to improve the audio before it is posted.

Then a dress rehearsal.

Yes DR IRIS - it is supposed to be hysterical - we are working on it.  Hard to tell until we get an audience.

On the news this morning: an apartment building not a mile from where I live burned to the ground overnight. Fatalities unknown.

Fireworks were noted in the area just before the fire started.

Also, youths have been arrested for shooting fireworks directly at police cruisers.

This is sad.  So much stupidity.

I got rear ended on my way to work. It did nothing to the car. Except for a small scratch.

That's good.

Given my propensity for whiplash, I should probably seek out a massage.

I hope you are ok.  I have the same sensitivity and my body can quickly begin to hurt.

DR John do you have anything with you to take, even Tylenol, to help relax your muscles?

I really like Catch Me If You Can. After first seeing it, I read the original book by Abagnale and loved getting more into the actual details.

Now, why was I thinking he had died a couple of years ago? I just googled, and he's apparently still alive and well and still consulting on security matters. What an amazing life and career.

I've never seen, or listened to, the musical. Has anyone here done so?

I've been told that the music is quite good, and probably quite challenging.

And it doesn't matter how minor the damage, or if there's no damage, or whatever the case may be...

It is definitely something to shake you up.

DR Elmore went down a Sweeney Todd rabbit hole!

Isn't it great, just purely indulging in something like that?

ChasSmith, the musical of Catch Me if You Can was one of the worst shows I've ever seen on a B'way stage. The music is exactly what you'd think it would be - big band kind of stuff, cliched. The framing device they used killed any chance of the show working. Kerry Butler had this beyond belief kind of gospel number which made no sense and was ludicrous - I assume she was the Amy Adams character. Loud and obnoxious from start to finish. Aaron Tveitt, who people seem to love, was, I thought charmless in diCaprio's role and Norbert Leo Butz worked hard but Tom Hanks he wasn't.

I've never heard the CD - I only know what I heard and saw in the theater. I found the score to be typical Shaiman - derivative, just like Some Like it Hot sounds. Maybe it's better as a listen, although that Kerry Butler number was from hunger, I thought. I did really like John Williams score in the film. The main title is so quirky and perfect and no one else would have written it like he did.
