Ha!  Two different opinions.  Love it.  I'll give the CD a listen sometime.

And yes, I think John Williams' film score is tops, and absolutely helped to make the movie what it was. In my li'l library of downloaded scores I have a PDF of the main title theme arranged for alto sax and piano, which looks to be tricky and challenging and should maybe be tackled someday.

I've never seen, or listened to, the musical. Has anyone here done so?

I've been told that the music is quite good, and probably quite challenging.

I like some things about the musical. But the book is odd. Saw it once in a community production that just about bankrupted the company.

Rodzinski, isn’t the removal of blackberry bushes a plot device in Where Did You Go, Bernadette?

I didn’t know of it, but apparently so!

I think I watched a couple of videos of numbers from the CMIYC musical.....but I don't remember that they inspired me to buy the CD or see the show.

However that was the movie that first made me realize how TALL Leonardo di Caprio is......there were scenes where he towered over all the other guys....and usually he is pretty even with the other guys in the scenes.

I remember seeing Catch Me If You Can on Broadway. Only thing I recall is Tom Wopat. Forgettable show, not the worst I ever saw, which was probably one of the vampire ones or something called BKLYN.

The New York Times is eliminating its sports desk.

Wait, wrong audience.

I think only one television station in this market has a sports department anymore.....and there are no newspapers mostly written/published locally.

I just received a proof for the newspaper ad for The Play That Goes Wrong.

It had the wrong ticket price and a logo for The Miracle Worker.  But the dates were right.

Before Abagnale there was the original guy who did this sort of thing, Ferdinand Waldo Demara, Jr. - the subject of the movie The Great Imposter, a movie I absolutely love.
