I'm up, I'm up - maybe four, maybe five hours of non-consecutive sleep, all thanks to that rancid Big Mac. Never again. EVER. Would not digest, felt like it was all gonna come up (it didn't), and therefore mostly up - watched a Merv Griffen Show with Jack Benny from 1971.

That's too bad about the Big Mac, BK.  The last couple that I've had were pretty good.

Cottage cheese is in lime congealed salad, which I have to make regularly for my dance instructor. It’s pretty good: lime gelatin, cottage cheese, pecans, canned pineapple, heavy cream.

Evidently, the definition of "good" can be interpreted in a variety of ways.

Four solid hours of futzing and finessing, adding detail, smoothing out the writing, moving thins around, deleting, and adding stuff. I finally wrote three new pages. Whew! I'll take a movie break, then try to write seven more by the end of the evening. If I do that, I'll be passing page two hundred of this manuscript and I'll pass 40,000 word. No, this ain't no novella.

Can't wait to read it!

I've done eleven pages. I began a new chapter, wrote a couple of pages, then decided those couple of pages would be a better ending to the chapter, so I moved them and wrote a short additional paragraph to end the chapter and that seemed to work pretty well, but I'll see how I feel when I futz and finesse. I can always go back to the way it was.

The dog on the left is Willow, who we had for about a year and a half.

We had to give her up about 7 years ago when the house we were renting was sold out from under us without any notice and the DH lost his job, all within the same terrible week.

Thankfully, we have moved on and are in a much better place now.
