Four solid hours of futzing and finessing, adding detail, smoothing out the writing, moving thins around, deleting, and adding stuff. I finally wrote three new pages. Whew! I'll take a movie break, then try to write seven more by the end of the evening. If I do that, I'll be passing page two hundred of this manuscript and I'll pass 40,000 word. No, this ain't no novella.

We had to give her up about 7 years ago when the house we were renting was sold out from under us without any notice and the DH lost his job, all within the same terrible week.

The subject of cottage cheese brings back many memories of my youth.

Always had cottage cheese in the refrigerator.

And very beautiful multi-hued jello molds, some layers clear with pineapple or bananas.

Some layers made with sour cream with chopped walnuts.

My mom layered the jello in a huge brandy snifter, then leaned it on its side to chill in the refrigerator.

They were quite artistic, with each layer slanted.
