Today, the family is gathering at my sister's house because my mom's friend Margita and her friend Laura are visiting from Spokane. We met Margita and her then husband (and their kids) in Germany when my dad and her husband were in the army and stationed at Kaiserslautern at the same time when I was 4 years old. We lived in 4-story army housing in the same stairwell. My mom and Margita stayed in contact all these years, and now we live in the Olympia area and Margita lives in Spokane and they're still friends, more than 50 years later! Another family Judy Hopkins and her then husband (and kids) also lived in the stairwell and eventually moved to Tacoma! And SHE'S stayed friends with my mom and Margita, too!

Anyway, Margita met Laura in Spokane and they've been friends for years, and when Margita visits, she drives and Laura comes along to keep her company and share the driving, so we've gotten to know Laura, too. So that'll be my day today, until the show this evening.

Strange night's sleep. I did sleep, yes. i am still congested beyond the usage of CPAP, yes.

I also dreamed, but the only one I remember is the last one. i was with two other people and going to a movie theater. It seems it was a ritual for us and we always sat in the same seats.

We went down to our row where my two friends sat down...but there were no more empty seats. They looked up at me as if to ask me what I was going to do. I looked behind them and found three empty seats two rows back. I sat in one of the three seats, and then I woke up.

Since I don't actually know those two people, I truly don't care whether they would have joined me or not. But still....what a strange dream.

I started watching "Downton Abbey", the mini-series, again yesterday. I have watched the first two seasons.

Mary and Matthew got married, and I stopped for the evening.

I find myself getting immersed in whatever I elect to watch. That isn't always the case. There are quite a few programs (movies and TV shows) I have watched bits of but never got back to. Prime and Netflix always remind me that those programs are waiting for me to resume watching.
