Luxuriating in a slow start to the Saturday here. But it’s time to get started on a few things.

I just ate a very nice bagel — sesame, toasted, one side butter and the other cream cheese, with a sprinkle of everything seasoning. It was especially delicious.

The bagel was very nice because of its wonderful texture, and the sad thing is that we don’t know which place it came from. It’s from a batch that Kristi’s office brought in, and the people who supply them get those things from various sources.

I need to get on with my day because we’re going to see a friend’s one act play this evening.

Tomorrow afternoon we’re going to the lovely Bridgewater Country Fair, a wonderful tradition in these parts. That used to be a regular thing for me but I haven’t gone since before covid. With refreshing dry air and highs in the high 70s/low 80s, it’s one of those rare years when that will be comfortable and supremely enjoyable.
