Good Morning.  I'm off to play a funeral at a different parish this morning, and the request is that it's all on the organ.  I'm hoping to get their early to get acquainted with the instrument before the service.  You can't just walk in and sit down at a organ and start playing if you've never seen the instrument before as they are are different and do different things, stop names may be in German, all those sort of things.  I find it fun, I just hope there is time.     Other than that, seeing a show this evening etc... hopefully there will be a bike ride this afternoon. 

I hope you had time to become acquainted with the oregon.

Dinner break. I got about six pages scored with several interruptions by all three cats wanting to be brushed while the lie on my score.

I did book my Monday trip to my urologist's office on Access-a-Ride. MTA fares have risen from $2.75 to $2.90, which is difficult since the MTA wants you to have exact change. $2.75 was easy: two singles and three quarters. I really do not want to deal nickels and dimes as well, so I think I will simply give the driver three singles.

After I see the urologist, Access-a-Ride will take me to pick up my new glasses.

I'm home from the funeral, which went well.  The aforementioned organ was not in great condition and definitely needs some attention, but we got through it.  Weather is lovely, perfect for a good bike ride.  Gotta figure out a route that will avoid people.  I'm in an area where there are great biking/walking paths along the bay - but it's Saturday and everyone is out.
