I was asked to provide a short piece about my work on the ballet. I threw something together fast yesterday and sent it off. To my surprise, they liked it,and I just pent thirty minutes polishing what I had written.

I don't know what happened. I finished cleaning thew litter, rose up from the floor and my left leg didn't want to support me or move. I managed to get to the kitchen where I washed the cat's breakfast dishes. I had no problem walking into the living area, but the first thing I did was to call Access-a-Ride and cancel today's trips. I probably should have just gone in to my appointment, but I panicked. I have to call now and rebook today's appointment.

TOD:

I was on board the Victory Chimes when Hurricane Ike passed over Maine. We were in a harbor with several other clipper ships and Ringo Starr’s massive yacht. The weather itself was fierce and the boat rocked all night, but it was the wait that was perhaps more terrifying.

In the morning, we sailed to our docked and disembarked in the rain. The trip was over a day before schedule.

I am completely worn out from spending all afternoon yesterday at the local Bridgewater Country Fair. It was great to be there and to see people I haven't seen in a while and to walk around and see silly things and eat silly things and all, but it was quite warm and it was a LOT of walking, and I am done. Today I have things to do, but indoors, and I'm taking it easy.

I also was under the mistaken impression that the overnight temperatures were supposed to be nice sleeping weather again, and I was wrong. They were not, and I tossed and turned when I should have been in a sound sleep.

I was on a CANDIDE kick yesterday. I listened to the OBC as well as the complete Scottish Opera performance. That got me curious about poster art for several non-Broadway productions. Some were dreadful, but I liked these

Today I have to stop by the doctor's office to ask a question, then go to OLLIE'S to replenish my supply of candles, gas station for gasoline for the lawn mower, and may another stop - we shall see.
