It is way too warm for me. I slept terribly. Faithful little Thatch stayed with me all night, but I'm sure I was not easy to be with. The alarm rang at 6:00, and I got up and dressed. I couldn't get myself to move so I went back to bed for another hour.

I do not have to leave the apartment today, so I plan to spend the day finishing up No. 38. I then have Nos. 40, 41, and 42 left to worry about. I won't make my Sept. 1 deadline, but I'll be close to it.

This photograph is the lobby photo of me, myself, and I as Mr. Dennis Tyde who played Perkins in Murder At Haversham Manor.....the play that went horribly wrong.

In Dennis' bio, he declared that his favorite play was HENRY VEE.

I think that the first Road Show motion picture that I attended was a re-release of GONE WITH THE WIND in 1967 or so.....at a big theatre in downtown Indy.

It had been stretched out to the widescreen somehow.....and I think some of the picture was cut off.....we saw a lot of things just around the edges.

And then a couple of years later we went downtown to see FIDDLER ON THE ROOF.....

Last night I watched Jim Fall's clever romantic comedy TRICK, which I saw several times in its 1999 release. It still makes me laugh and moves me to tears. My friends Steve Hayes and Kevin Chamberlin are wonderful in it, and the two leads are amazing. Tori Spellig has some wonderful moments, but I think there's way too much of her.
