All is right with the world.

Well, some parts of it anyway.

LOL, that's good.  Are you feeling better?

Yes, Jane, thanks. The bug I had didn’t want to let go. It likes me too much! As we learned from Covid, it pays to be prepared.

Published four months later, The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes is a similar story you might find interesting.  I read Giver and still read Creek knowing they were very similar.

The machinery has begun to turn: this afternoon the publisher asked for my final draft of Annabelle & Thatch.

Best news of the day.

It talks about the importance of libraries and not banning books, and while not my library system there is a story of another library in danger.

Those f*ckers. >:(

Not a word I would use, but yes they are.

That's why I used the "*". :D

This has been a sad day: Natasha, the cat who owns my friends Richard and Sherri Newman, died and so did Bini the Bunny:

When we were at the coast we saw, for the first time, a Northern Harrier Hawk.

Wow.

I just do not understand the mentality of "I disagree with something, so everyone else must bend to my will."

DR Laura did you have any damage from the monsoon last night?  A friend just posted a photo on FB of a downed tree across his driveway.
