In other breaking news, an outfit calls "Boystown" has sent me a package enticing me to give them money. The package includes a 3-pack of pens/markers and two sets of cute socks.

These socks are tiny. i might be able to fit 2 or 3 toes in them.

Which is appropriate, I guess, for "Boystown."

However, it does beg the question:

Wouldn't "Boystown" be better served by KEEPING and USING these teeny tiny socks themselves?

I guess their cuteness factor is supposed to entice me to open my wallet.

One surprise when I went to get my vaccines last week: they have retired the COVIC vaccine card. Since the U.S. Government is no longer distributing the vaccines, the CDC is no longer printing new cards. The pharmacy did, however, give me a printout from the state system showing a record of all my previous shots.

I read about that this morning.

I just read if tv's are on they should also have had an emergency alert.  Keith looked up at the row of tv's at the gym this morning and didn't see a single alert.

I had Keith double check and his phone is set to English.

You got both 

It was just a displayed message, and you scrolled sideways to see the Spanish language version.

Hmmm, scrolling sideways did nothing.  I think to see all three pages that he received he scrolled down.

Probably different models of phone display messages differently.
