Well, you've read the notes, the notes were A.I. (Actually Inane), and now it is time for you to post until the A.I cows come home.

AI concerns me because I’m looking for an editorial job and worried that I’ve become obsolete like in that Twilight Zone episode.

Last night, I could barely stay awake at 6:00. When I finally did go to bed around 9:30, I couldn't get to sleep. I finally passed out some time after midnight.slept well until 5:00 or so when I had to deal with restless Annabelle and Stella. My faithful Thatch has abandoned me.

Did anyone win Powerball last night, Wednesday, Oct. 11th, 2023?

Yes. According to the California Lottery,
one winning ticket matched all six numbers and was sold at the Midway Market & Liquor on Frazier Mountain Park Road in Frazier Park, Calif.

Did a lot of prep work yesterday, and now I must get ready to take this MacBook to the doctor Genius for its battery change.

Pray for that baby!

A.I. - A decent Steven Spielberg film with an amazing John Williams score.  That's more than it would have had if Stanley Kubrick had directed it.  Cannot imagine what classical pieces Kubrick would have used.  Don't care.

A.I. -- I guess it has been in the news so much because college students have tried using a program to write their papers for them.  I guess it beats Cliff Notes, but it's typical.

When human thought and expression become so predictable that an artificial program can convincingly/compellingly/completely replicate them, I think we are doomed.

Of course, when the basest human responses lead to beheadings of children and mass killings over political nonsense, I think we are already doomed.

But...there was Hitler and the Third Reich some 80 years or so ago...and their actions seemed unrepeatable.

My cardiology visit was a breeze.  A strong breeze.

What I thought might be of concern was that my feet tend to swell during the course of a day, and that has been true the past several weeks.

However, given the steroids I was on for two weeks, my cardiologist told me not to worry about it...that it would pass as it is a typical reaction to the massive doses I was taking.

He wants to see me again in one year.

Whew.

Good Morning - I have returned from my trip across the pond.  Actually. I returned on Tuesday, but yesterday, I did nothing - didn[t even turn the computer on - just hung out with the boys, went to TJ's and took the boys to the dog park.  Today, I'm ready to join the human race again.

I saw 5 shows in London.  I'm planning on writing a blog about my weekend, when it's done, I'll post a link.  It really was a fantastic weekend.   Happy to be back.
