2nd hand Burt Young story: guy came into a bar I was in, fresh out of watching a play reading at the Actor’s Studio nearby. He said the reading didn’t go well because Burt Young was reading and he was mumbling his part, inaudibly. When someone asked if he could speak up, he went off his nut, cursing everyone out for having the audacity of telling him how to act. And…scene.
