I slept rather well with both Annabelle and Thatch taking up most of the bed. I'm so happy neither one snores.

Yesterday was a most frustrating day. I tried to call HRA to check on my Medicare and lost too much time waiting to speak to someone after losing more time punching buttons on the phone and hoping I would finally speak to a real person.

Then I spent too much time trying to resolve ths jury duty summons. I am currently stuck between my doctor, a friend at the court house, and telephone numbers that have been changed as soon as the summons went into the post or I dialed wrong.

I also promised this young man I've befriended to send him McGlinn recordings he requested, and that's taking up more time than I realized. I got nothing accomplished on the Mattress music yesterday.

I just lost it on the phone with HRA. I cannot get a real person on the phone to answer my inquiries about Medicaid, I cannot get a confirmation about their receiving my faxed documents, and I can goddamned sick of beaurocratic incompetence.
