Throughout New York state, we saw signs telling truck drivers to be aware of how high (or low) the overpasses are. Guess they’re needed everywhere.

The truck driver should have read the yellow sign.  I know the photo is a bit blurry due to downsizing it.

Also there are signs along the road before the turn indicating trucks should turn around.  They simply don't read the signs.  We see it all the time, except not under the bridge as well as running out of room to easily turn around.

DR John, which is better, La Fonda On Main or Iron Cactus?  Cousins posted on FB that they were going to eat at Iron Cactus, the best restaurant in San Antonio.

Today was Dental Visit #4 from last month’s dental emergency. The new crowns and onlay have been installed and I am done! Poorer, too. Very glad it’s over. It was more involved than I expected, but it’s done.

I didn’t even stop at the bakery afterwards, but I did stop at Dollar-and-a-Quarter Tree, which was quite crowded. Best to avoid it just before Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I have two very slow drains. Why pay $6 when you can pay $1.25? (For Liquid Plumber)

Next week is more medical stuff. Ugh!  I’m so tired of it. But it needs to be done and I want it behind me.

YAY! I was hoping NY had this kind of provision. You should not have to deal with jury duty on top of everything else.

As you approach it doesn't look at all like a freeway entrance, plus after going under the old stone bridge it curves to the right making it a bit difficult to know for sure where you are going the first time you drive it.

As we passed that entrance on our way home from the gym today we saw a BIG truck stuck under the bridge.  As we passed the street from the entrance side we turned to see what it looked like down there. (There is a business parking lot we could go through without getting in the way). Lots of police cars and a big mess.

I wish we could have taken a photo.

Yikes Hopefully, trucks getting stuck doesn't happen very often!
