Here’s one for the after-dinner drink I had tonight. Take Amaro Nonino and pour it over ice. Serve. Drink. Enjoy.

That sounds very easy, thanks for sharing :)

DR Rodzinski, are you going into Canada for your special lunch today?  I think it is a perfect way to celebrate a day of things we are thankful for.

I will be riding with my cousin Butch and his fiancee Sharon to Simpsonville SC to the home of Butch's daughter Ashley (my favorite first cousin, once removed), to enjoy Thanksgiving with her and her family (four boys plus husband Clay Keller).

The trip is about 90 minutes each way.  I am providing iced tea -- both sweet and unsweet.

Despite my protests that I know how to cook, I get relegated to bring tea or rolls or ice..like I have no skills of any kind.

Oh, well!!

LOL.  Enjoy your family time.

The parade is on. I don't give it my full close attention, but I enjoy it for a while.

I remember as a child watching it with my sister.  Now I tend to forget there is one.

I slept until 8:30am. It's a Thanksgiving miracle.

That is a miracle.  Yesterday I was amazed that I woke up at 7:45, but then I didn't fall asleep until 2:00 or later.

Thanksgiving afternoon greetings!  We had 2 Spectrum guys here this morning getting our TV and wi-fi set up.  They were finished in time for us to see the Macy’s parade.

Wow, that was nice of them to work today.

I would gladly have Mexican food on Thanksgiving.  I am surprised there aren't restaurants in the area with special set meals today, not that I would go to those as they usually don't offer much for vegetarians.

I will probably finish off the meat loaf......if it doesn't finish me off first.

I've never really liked turkey, so my mom is making me a mini meatloaf.

She actually made these a while ago, but froze them before cooking, so all she has to do is cook it, and probably can do it at the same time as the turkey.

My sister and her daughter are vegetarian, so she (my sister) is preparing "field roast" for them...and anyone else who even just wants to try it.
