We are having a beautiful first day of the year. Our walk was lovely, with clear views of Mt. Hood and sailboats on the river.

Everything is ready for the Do - pasta water is almost boiling and then the pasta will take twenty to twenty-five minutes to cook.

All is ready. Sauce is good, tuna pasta salad is out and ready to be eaten, and pasta is cooked and ready for plating. All we need is someone to show up and I hope it's soon because I'm HUNGRY.

Thus far the Do is a Dud. Even the usuals who are always here on time aren't here and we're thirty minutes after five now. I wasn't about to wait, so I had a small helping of spaghetti and tuna pasta salad. I should have made this an hour less and said to get here on time.
